- Performs HVAC system, and non-HVAC repairs as directed.- Performs scheduled and nonscheduled repair, maintenance and installation of machinery, tools, equipment and/or associated equipment to ensure continuous and safe operation of the property.- Performs preventive maintenance in conjunction with all building maintenance and/or cleanliness related items.- Submits requests for expenditures associated with repairs, upkeep, and improvement to the Director of Facilities.- Directly or indirectly supports all exterior grounds activities, including snow removal, grass cutting, landscaping, the parking garage and other exterior area needs. - Supports all sanitation processes and procedures including rodent and pest control.- Performs painting, structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, wallpaper and treatments, and furnishings of buildings.- Performs all Grand Stand maintenance activities.- Directly or indirectly supports the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and water distribution, including fire suppression and sewerage facilities.- Accountable for OSHA compliance at Hollywood Casino Hotel and Raceway. Will be an active participant of Safety compliance.- Implements and monitors controls designed to assure full compliance with all federal, state, corporate and property laws, policies and/or mandates.- Must be able to interact effectively and positively across departmental lines. Must be a team player.- Limited supervisory requirements as assigned.- Other duties may be assigned.
Your daily responsibilities include: - Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the interior and exterior of the facility, utilizing appropriate heavy duty or specialized equipment (extractors, floor scrubbers, shampoo and polishing machines, scaffolding, lawn care equipment, etc.) and proper cleaning chemicals as assigned. This includes routine cleaning, project cleaning (stripping/waxing floors, shampoo/spot clean carpets, signage/light fixtures/vents, etc), painting, minor repairs, lawn care, snow removal, and preventive maintenance. - Responsible for proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of department equipment. - When required, stands safety and lookout watches during heightened security alerts as described by the department of homeland security, DNR, and USCG. - Adheres to regulatory, safety, departmental, and company policies. - Supports safety and accident prevention programs (PPE, LO/TO, BBP, HAZCOM) and informs manager on duty of any safety problems or concerns. - Presents oneself as a Credit to Company and encourages others to do the same. - Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work varied schedule including weekend, nights, and holidays. - Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked at all times and maintain vacuums. - inspect room linens before placing in rooms and return below-standard pieces to Housekeeping. - Proper utilization of equipment, supplies and guest amenities. - Cleanliness and sanitation of guest batHRooms. - Daily changing of soiled linens on beds and remaking beds following the hotel standards. - Cleanliness of rooms, balconies, and room furnishings. - Constant awareness of safety hazards, (i.e., broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons) and report to the Housekeeping Office. - Follow all training procedures set forth in the Blood borne Pathogens program - Strict follow-through on Lost and Found procedures (for example anything found in rooms that are vacant must be turned into Housekeeping Office directly). No articles should ever be removed from occupied rooms. - Absolute respect for guest’s property should always be exercised. - Practice safety standards at all times. - Responsible care of equipment. - Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule; maintains accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms. - Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers at all times. - Sweep and mop floors. - Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and drapes. - Empty wastebaskets. - Report guest complaints. - Deposit dirty linen in laundry chute. - Other duties may be assigned.
Establishes, promotes, and maintains security and property protection programs by performing the following duties. Delivers Outstanding guest service by dealing up ACES! Acknowledge the guest with a friendly greeting. Convey an upbeat and positive attitude. Engage the guest and anticipate the guest’s needs. Show appreciation for the business and offer a warm farewell. Provides a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all internal and external customers. Maintain activities such as fire prevention and fire fighting, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring of personnel involved with classified information, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts. Checks guest identifications in conjunction with established policies and procedures. Enforces Responsible Gaming and Self Exclusion program. Produce reports on all investigations. Must be able to deal with a wide variety of people and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Other duties as assigned.
- Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/or thefts of company property. - Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions. - Participates in court actions relating to gaming violations. - Learns and uses two card count system. - Learns all games in use and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games. - Writes proper reports as needed in a timely manner. - Responds to Surveillance supervision and gaming control requests. - Responds to requests of all other departments when necessary.
