GENERAL - Responsible for setting up bars. - Responsible for handling all cash transactions.- Responsible for all opening and closing inventories of all stock.- Ensure the safety and security of guest and team members.- Become knowledgeable of Resorts Casino & Hotel policies and procedures with regards to alcoholic beverages- Development of strong beverage image in the market place.- Other duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBLITIES: - Answers questions from guests and makes suggestions to guests regarding food, beverage, and service.- Takes drink orders.- Assists in maintaining the dining area in a clean and neat manner.- Monitors the needs of all guests on a continual basis to ensure all requests are met thoroughly and promptly.- Clears tables completely at the end of each meal.- Uses all proper service techniques as described in the training manual.- Carries out customer service policy to each guest at all times.- Works well with all other restaurant employees to promote a teamwork oriented atmosphere.- Responsible to take orders from patrons and return these orders in a timely manner.- Responsible to have knowledge of patron limitations and company policy and procedure regarding alcohol beverage limitations.- Ensure the safety and security of guest and team members.- Ensures all guests at Resorts Casino & Hotel enjoy a positive gaming experience due to high quality of guest service.- Welcomes and interacts with guests and other team members with a genuine display of caring and friendliness.- Other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for greeting, registering and assigning rooms to guests in a courteous and efficient manner. Issues room keys and advises bell staff.- Make players cards and accounts for guests that check into the hotel.- Performs tasks outlined on daily checklist accurately and efficiently.- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registrations of guests; shopping, dining entertainment and travel directions.- Keeps records of room availability and guests ’accounts.- Computes bill, collects payment and makes change for guests.- Makes and confirms reservations.- Deposits guest’s valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box.- Posts charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, and comps to ledger.- Supports and maintains courtesy guidelines.- Promotes positive public relations- Assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.- Performs other duties as assigned.- Use of switchboard with multi lines, Holidex/or reservation computer system, telephone. Credit card, Safety deposit boxes, card key and office equipment.
