Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway is currently looking for a Garde Manger.   ESSENTiAL DUTiES AND RESPONSiBiLiTiES - Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service, through the consistent practice and delivery of Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests and team members. - Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements. This includes purchasing and wearing slip resistant safety shoes when performing all job duties. - Assist Buffet Room Chef in formulating recipes for production use in Garde Manger kitchen and banquet menus. - Maintain proper staffing levels, assist in recruiting and scheduling according to business needs to ensure effective operation of outlet within budgeted guidelines. - Oversee the consistency of various preparations within the cold kitchen to ensure quality products and adherence to standard recipes. - Conduct daily walk through and inspections of immediate area ensuring proper operation of equipment and refrigeration, proper storage and rotation of product. - Plan, prep and set up, provide quality service and product to all outlets requiring items from Garde Manger kitchen. - interview, select and train new team members. - Assist with the training and development of culinary staff. - Review, adjust and administer working schedules of team members. - Plan work processes and determine effective techniques or processes to be used by team members in the course of business. - Understand and adhere to bargaining unit agreements. - Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies. - Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner. - Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.

• Cleans slot machines, in between machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, restaurants, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the casino or common areas • Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur• Cleans any bio hazardous materials when it occurs • Removes trash from the trash container and places into the dumpsters• Familiar with the proper use of chemicals and equipment• Must be able to stand and work in a noisy, smoke filled environment without restrictions for up to eight hours per day• Responsible for providing exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests

MAJOR JOB DUTiES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following: - Work with M Resort staff and Ticketmaster to prepare event programming, ticket holds, and other event ticketing needs  - Assist with box office operations during performances (including preparation of box reports, Box Office Statement and actively participate in Event Settlements) - Ensure ADA Compliant Ticketing Practices - Communicate regularly with TicketMaster staff, The M Resort Ticketing staff, customers and affiliated parties  - Assist Clients, Ticketmaster Rep and The M Resort with event programming, ticket holds, ticket account and other ticket details - Process ticketing arrangements for promoters, theatre departments, and affiliated parties - Communicate regularly and assist internal departments and external event personnel with any ticketing needs and concerns - Assist with monitoring of ticket sales and maintenance of ticketing system - Track and reconcile ticket stock inventory  - Resolve customer service issues as necessary - Maintain accurate box office accounting records and archives - Receive and maintain incoming group sales requests and process invoices to completion. - Monitor supplies and equipment, as well as, report and follow up on any ticketing repair issues - Prepare reports for settlement and archival purposes - Ticketing/box office duties as assigned by management - Perform related work as requested.  The above statements represent a general outline of principal job functions and should be not be construed as a complete description of all aspects and requirements inherent in this job.
