- Greet guests warmly and promptly with eye contact and enthusiasm per our "Red Carpet Customer Service" guidelines while providing quick and efficient service.- Handle guests' money transactions quickly and efficiently in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.- Responsible for receiving orders and payments for food, beverage, and retail items in a prompt and courteous manner.  - Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures within Food & Beverage department at Hollywood Casino.- Knowledge of and strict adherence to PLCB and RG standards.- Accurate and efficient use of POS system.- Keep work area neat; clean and restock assigned station at end of shift to have ready for start of next shift in accordance with Department of Health standards.  Responsible for emptying trash receptacles in accordance with venue guidelines.- Responsible for clearing and sanitizing all tables after the occupying guests vacate them. Responsible for removing dishes from tables and returning to dishwasher.- Maintain communication with servers and inform them when a table in their section has been seated.- Responsible for answering telephones and taking reservations if necessary.  Verify reservation, if required, before seating guests.- Responsible for seating guests according to established rotation procedure, distributing menus, and explaining daily features.- Knowledge of all daily specials and featured menu items and their preparation.  Maintain communication with kitchen regarding "86 board" and availability of featured items.- Handle any guest complaints and resolve them quickly and courteously.  Answer guest questions and direct concerns to appropriate member of management.- Complete knowledge of all menu items and how each item is prepared.- Participate as a team member with all servers, buspersons, cooks, supervisors, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:- Manage Maintenance staff in order to ensure quality maintenance is being performed, both inside and outside on the property. This would include, but not limited to interior finishes such as carpeting, painting, tile work, wood work, accent lighting, etc., supporting mechanical equipment such as HVAC/R and equipment related to heating throughout the property, furniture restoration, carpentry and property grounds maintenance, ponds and water features, etc.  - Responsible for the overall integrity of shift operations, ensures compliance of any and all regulatory requirements, internal controls, and policies and procedures (OSHA)- Respond to all emergencies per established procedures, provides expertise, and supervises team members and resources in the event of a chemical or hazardous waste spill or other deemed emergencies.- Manage daily preventive maintenance schedules for both the environmental and facilities departments, including the coordination of work flow during shift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction.- Manage departmental staffing needs, including new team member on-boarding, training and development, mentoring, and performance management.- Oversees vendors and contractors and supervises their activities- Communicates to other casino departments of work requests and projects- Participate in discussions and decision making in regards to capital expenditure requests, operating budgets and extraordinary expenditures.- Complies with established methods, procedures and safety guidelines required to maintain desired standards, and monitors results through an inspection process.- Assist with meeting facilities budget, as well as purchasing of necessary parts and materials.- Approves PTO and manages team member attendance- Other duties as assigned
