Penn Interactive (PI) is an interactive gaming company headquartered in Philadelphia with offices in Las Vegas, NV and Conshohocken, PA. As the digital arm to Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ: PENN), the largest regional casino operator in the U.S., we are poised for fast-paced growth in the sports betting and online casino space. We are also partnered with Barstool Sports to drive growth in our businesses. 


The Multiplatform Engineer will be primarily responsible for maintaining the stability of the libraries, staying up to date on the latest Kotlin Multiplatform roadmaps and educating Teams and Engineers on the capabilities of the tool. The MultiPlatform Engineer will build out the internal tools used across features to enable other engineers to quickly build out new features and scale the libraries.

Your daily responsibilities include


  • Work with teams to plan and design Multiplatform features
  • Educate engineering and product teams about the Multiplatform library and the
    capabilities it has
  • Collaborate with engineers to incrementally learn and adopt the value from Multiplatform
  • Build out the code infrastructure and internal tools for the Multiplatform libraries
  • Maintain stable dependency versions by updating to the latest of our library dependencies
    (I.E Ktor, Kotlin, Gradle)
  • Build out unit tests to improve code coverage of business logic and work to build out
    client friendly library APIs.
  • Maintain Documentation Updates including infrastructure documentation, feature work
    documentation, and process documentation with the Scrum and Technical Project
    Management Teams
  • Work to improve and maintain the developer workflow, continuous integration, testing,
    artifact management, and other technical challenges that arise. Pair with product,
    platform and SRE as needed.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set


  • 3-5 years of Android Experience
  • Proficiency in Kotlin
  • Familiar with Swift, Objective-C, and JavaScript
  • Experience working in large codebases
  • Familiar with MVVM and Clean Architecture
  • Collaborative and eager to work hands on with engineers, managers, PMs
    and others across the company.



  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
  • SDK Library development



  • Position may require licensing in applicable states that PI operates. If so, you must qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
