Your daily responsibilities include

  • Types memos, letters, reports and materials as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintains departmental files.
  • Designates Room Attendant work assignments.
  • Receives incoming calls from guest rooms and dispatches maintenance personnel as required.
  • Responsible for computer data entry of all work orders and inspections.
  • Maintains lost and found dispatch logs.
  • Physically performs key checks and lost key searches.
  • Maintains an orderly work area.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and fluctuating days off.
  • Maintains cleanliness of office.
  • Organizes supply closet items.
  • Prepares departmental line-up.
  • Maintains message boards in pre-shift area.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook preferred.
  • Ability to remain highly organized.
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking skills
  • Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year hotel housekeeping and/or clerical experience preferred.
