The Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for communicating with operational stakeholders as it relates to business requirements and memorializing those requirements in formal documentation that can ultimately be furnished to our online gaming platform provider for refinement and development.  They will be the first order of escalation for Junior Analyst issues and will be the primary team members to provide operational KPI reporting at each state go live.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Prepare, and submit Business Requirement Documents (BRD) to Senior Analyst for revie and approval
  • Lead weekly operational meetings with platform provider and hold each party accountable as it relates to change request deliverables
  • Primary operational team members responsible for testing new features in app, including but not limited to payment options, new bet types, state regulatory items, etc.
  • Regularly update the Barstool Sportsbook app training guide that is shared with internal team as well as corporate wide team members
  • Review complaints that come in from Corporate counterparts and broker the right conversations with the right operational team members to ensure a speedy and accurate answer
  • Primary point of operational contact for all casino games testing, including but not limited to slots, tables, live dealer, or in-house games content
  • Work with RGS providers to appropriately configure all igaming content (RTP, volatility, Exposure, progressive limits, min bet, max bet, game description, etc.
  • Work with PI Project Management as well as product and marketing to appropriately inform all parties when RGS providers are releasing new game content.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Experience in digital or e-commerce related field/business
  • Forward thinker who designs for not only current business needs but, plans for scalability and longer-term solutions
  • Must be a team player willing to help others while also fostering their help in return
  • Must be able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities while ensuring successful completion of all items
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proven ability to succinctly review, report and present any operational discoveries there may be including campaign abuse, customer complaints, anti-fraud, and the performance of sportsbook campaigns and markets
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work under the pressure of short time constraints 
  • Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) 
  • Experience with a variety Customer Support tools including Zendesk
  • MUST HAVE: Passion for sports AND/OR online gambling

Gaming License

Position may require licensing in applicable states that PI operates. If so, you must qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
