Your daily responsibilities include

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Provides the highest level of customer service to guests at all times while promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience.
  • Responds to guest service issues in all departments timely in writing, by phone or in person
  • Creates a format and process to log guest service concerns and positive feedback to ensure timely response from property leadership
  • Listens to guests concerns and pro-actively gives feedback to leadership on property for guest service improvements
  • Promotes our Marquee Rewards Program and actively approaches, converses and signs up guests on the casino floor in an upbeat friendly and professional manner.
  • Must be accessible and personally handle guest needs.
  • Works with all departments in achieving the service goals of the property.
  • Assists the Player Development staff in taking care of their guests in making arrangements for hotel, restaurant, special events and entertainment.
  • Understand the levels of reinvestment that can be made on guest loyalty.
  • Is aware of all property events and activities and utilizes effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through the department.
  • Ensures behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards. 
  • Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.
  • Participates in meetings and training as required.
  • Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times.
  • Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:

  • Must have 2-4 years customer service experience in a hotel or gaming environment    
  • Must have a college degree or comparable work experience in the hotel or casino industry    
  • Must have shift availabilty to work nights, weekends and Holidays.        
  • Ability to read, write and speak English. 
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner. 
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, other department personnel, guests, and management.
  • Must have a proven track record of personally providing excellent guest service.
  • Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic demeanor to guests, both internal and external at all times.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies, and procedures. 
  • Working knowledge of casino data base programs and LMS computer systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of casino games is preferred.  
  • Data entry experience is required.
  • Must be detail orientated.
  • Career interest within the hospitality field or related industry is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office 2007, Outlook, and Excel is required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as necessary.          
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
