Penn Interactive (PI) is an interactive gaming company headquartered in Philadelphia. As the digital arm to Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ: PENN), the largest regional casino operator in the U.S.,), the largest regional casino operator in the U.S., we are poised for fast-paced growth in the sports betting and online casino space and have partnered with Barstool Sports to launch an online sportsbook.




We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Sportsbook product vertical on our expanding Product Team. As a Product Manager you will own features of the sportsbook platform and take responsibility for the successful design, development, and deployment of those features. You will help define the roadmap by digging into the sports betting space and becoming an expert on what will invigorate current users and inspire new ones.

Your daily responsibilities include

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Senior Manager to establish a well-researched, long-term vision for core aspects of the Sportsbook platform including bet offers and display, enhancements to the homepage and event pages, etc.
  • Become a subject matter expert on all existing Sportsbook features
  • Understand our user wants and needs through research, persona development, and user testing
  • Study the competitive landscape to understand industry best practices and areas for improvement
  • Identify and manage the implementation of new, innovative features that challenge the status quo, like embedded video, alternate deposit methods, and additional ways to bring Barstool content into the Sportsbook platform
  • Develop well-defined and detailed product requirements and create Product Feature Specifications
  • Work cross-functionally with the UI/UX and Engineering teams to ensure successful execution of our launch roadmap and strategy
  • Write user stories and prioritize backlogs based on the Sportsbook roadmap
  • Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure new and existing features are regulatory compliant for each new jurisdiction
  • Collaborate across multiple departments including Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set


  • At least 4 years of product management experience 
  • Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and be accountable for deliverables
  • Ability to understand and delve holistically into a product while also being able to break down features and set priorities 
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders 
  • Experience working with third parties 
  • Experience working with and inspiring engineering teams
  • Experience working with Compliance Teams
  • Experience managing the entire product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with an Agile development process and driving the product roadmap
  • Knowledge of Agile tools, like Jira or Trello
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Strong ability to translate product needs to technology/engineering and the business 
  • Ability to translate product/technical needs questions to compliance
  • Ability to concisely summarize complex issues and make clear, compelling recommendations
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, you can cut through the noise and laser focus on what really matters
  • You are data-driven and consistently leverage data to make decisions
  • Passion for technology, sports, gaming/casinos, or all of the above 
  • Four-year college degree preferred, but not required

  • Experience in sports betting or gaming industry
