PI is looking for a Loyalty Marketing Specialist to assist the VIP Marketing Manager in building, managing, and scaling our loyalty retention marketing program for our online sportsbook and online casino player databases. Ideally this role will maximize VIP customer experience and player retention through the delivery of personalized marketing communications, innovative player bonus and promotional offerings, and an industry-leading omni-channel player journey experience.


In addition to continuously maximizing the value of exiting loyalty players, the Loyalty Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting the growth of the loyalty database by converting existing high-value players and retaining newly acquired VIP-caliber players.


The Loyalty Marketing Specialist is a key role that sits within the VIP team but will work with other VIP focused teams and individuals across the organization, ensuring a cohesive experience for high-end Barstool Sportsbook and Casino clientele. Assisting in the development of timely, differentiated, and customized promotions/bonuses for VIP players is a core responsibility for this role. We’re looking for an individual with strong marketing and technology experience, deep CRM expertise, a proven track record in marketing automation systems, and the ability to collaborate cross functionally.


Your daily responsibilities include


  • Develop and deliver personalized communications, promotions, and campaigns to VIP players at scale across all across real money sportsbook and casino products
  • Monitor competitor loyalty marketing communications and programs, testing and adopting best practices to continuously improve performance, player value, and profitability
  • Partner with our in-house creative team to develop best-in-class design and copy for all owned channels
  • Ensure that all marketing content adheres to standards and align to marketing objectives
  • Analyzing results of content-based communications, and further refine to continuously improve defined KPIs
  • Through a strategic/data-driven lens, analyze customer data, segments, and user journeys to develop hyper-efficient/personalized campaign content and create targeted lifetime value/customer lifecycle engagement campaigns
  • Organize training materials, develop best practices and present other important information across the team
  • Support development of presentations to management and key marketing stakeholders
  • Be a proactive part of the ideation process, contributing to team meetings & offsite strategy sessions
  • Execute work at a high level in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in marketing, business administration, or related field 
  • 4+ years of experience with marketing automation, CRM, email marketing, and push notification technologies
  • Intimate knowledge of customer relationship management, customer segmentation and database management, market research practices and processes
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational & time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced and ever evolving environment
  • A self-starter who’s comfortable with problem solving on the fly
  • Strong copywriting and project management skills
  • Analytical skills to extract key insights from large quantities of data
  • Capability to work cross-functionally, including virtual teams
  • Previous experience with email marketing is preferred with some degree of hands-on knowledge of coding in HTML and CSS
  • Experience in Photoshop is preferred
  • Previous experience with VIP/host is preferred
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • MUST HAVE: Passion for sports and casino
