Penn Interactive (PI) is an interactive gaming company headquartered in Philadelphia. As the digital arm to Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ: PENN), the largest regional casino operator in the U.S.,), the largest regional casino operator in the U.S., we are poised for fast-paced growth in the sports betting and online casino space and have partnered with Barstool Sports to launch an online sportsbook.


We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our expanding Sportsbook team. As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a foundational role in the discovery and definition of key product initiatives for the Sportsbook. You will define requirements, write user stories, and work closely with designers and engineers to illustrate and implement new features.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Support Senior Product Manager and Product Team in thinking strategically and creatively to gather product and customer insights and help define the product vision 
  • Develop user stories based on Sportsbook product roadmap features
  • Parse regulatory documentation to define product features and user stories 
  • Work with developers and designers to define, test, and deploy sportsbook platform features
  • Build trust and effective relationships with peers/cross-functional teams
  • Define detailed product requirements and create Product Feature Specifications
  • Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience
  • Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines
  • Perform quality assessments on the sportsbook product
  • Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps
  • Help to create personas
  • Monitor and report on users’ reactions after launching
  • Research and learn new areas of industry 
  • Analyze competition and future of the market

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • 0-3 years of professional work experience, preferably in a product role
  • Four-year college degree preferred, but not required
  • Experience managing the entire product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with an Agile development process and driving the product roadmap
  • Knowledge of Agile tools, like Jira or Trello
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Strong ability to translate product needs to technology/engineering and the business
  • Ability to concisely summarize complex issues and make clear, compelling recommendations
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving abilities; you can cut through the noise and laser focus on what really matters
  • You are data-driven and consistently leverage data to make decisions
  • Passion for technology, sports, gaming/casinos, or all of the above
