Penn Interactive is looking for a Trading and Content Analyst to ensure the online Sportsbook maintains a premium and diversified bet offering. The Trading and Content Analyst will play a critical role in differentiating the online Sportsbook through the development of odds boosts and specials and will work seamlessly with our odds and risk management partner to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Collaborate with Trading and Content team and business partners to develop daily online Sportsbook odds boosts and unique bet specials from the idea phase through bet offers “going live” onsite.
  • Maintain internal administrative software to optimize content shown to users on Sportsbook front end.
  • Monitor existing catalog of bet offers and liaise with our sportsbook odds and risk management partner to ensure a high-quality selection of competitively priced and maintained bet offers at all times.
  • Remain hyper-aware of all sporting news, developing stories, and relevant team/player statuses and schedules to deliver best-in-class odds boosts, specials, and promotions.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and maintain market awareness within the online sports betting industry.
  • Deliver regular odds updates/necessary trading information to business partners, as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal team members across functional areas to drive innovation across sportsbook and deliver upon KPIs, both in your role operationally as well as across the business.
  • Provide both data-driven and anecdotal feedback to management to improve KPIs and the overall sportsbook experience from a trading and content perspective.
  • Anticipate and identify issues that may negatively impact business and develop/implement operations-based solutions.
  • Independently multi-task and juggle multiple priorities while ensuring successful completion of all items.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Strong knowledge of American sports leagues and players, with knowledge of European soccer leagues a definite plus.
  • Strong sports betting and/or trading experience preferred, or at minimum a solid understanding of odds and common terms upon arrival.
  • A relentless and competitive drive to deliver a premium sports betting product.
  • Proven ability to succinctly review, report and present any findings or self-started initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Teamwork oriented - must be a team player willing to help others while also fostering their help in return.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under the pressure of short time constraints.
  • Must be flexible in schedule and able to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Employee must be able to qualify for gaming licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
