Your daily responsibilities include

  • Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the departments for which this position is responsible.
  • Assists in development of overall strategic plan and directs the ongoing operations of our slots, table games and poker business.
  • Works closely to develop, implement, and oversee overall strategies for customer  service, games layout and mix, revenue growth, scheduling and expense  management in order to maximize profitability.
  • Drives improved results through staff development and training programs, and established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high quality service, then monitors results through inspection, evaluation and analysis. Makes changes if necessary to achieve end result
  • Responsible for ensuring optimal operations and consistent high quality standards in areas of responsibility during all business hours.
  • Maintains vendor relationships and manages implementation of new table games.
  • Management accountability for all s for day to day and long term operations to include hiring, training and developing employees which includes coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management up to and including separation.
  • Responsible for the overall integrity of daily operations. Models regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Any and all duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operations.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in business or related field from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred.
  • Five years progressively more challenging experience in a gaming operations role, some table games and slots experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
  • Ability to prepare, understand, and analyze business strategies, Budget & P&L Statements and Business Plans.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Proven managerial, problem solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment within  established policies.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors.
  • Ability to stand and walk, and mobility to move easily around casino area as well as entire property for entire shift.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds and air quality.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the  ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined space.
