Your daily responsibilities include

Summary Provides prompt and courteous food and beverage service while ensuring guest satisfaction, during banquet or restaurant functions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Performs pre-shift and post-shift side work (setup, break down, clean-up, etc.).

 

Greets guests when seated at table.

Assists guest needs

Prepares beverage orders

Clears table after service. Removes trays of dirty dishes, silverware and glasses to kitchen for cleaning.

 

Clears room at end of banquet of all props and centerpieces and properly returns to storage.

 

Adheres to sanitation rules and regulations.

Conducts any other related duties assigned by supervisor on duty

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

 

Education and/or Experience                                                          

 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

 

Language Skills                                                   

 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

 

Mathematical Skills                                                           

 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

 

Reasoning Ability                                                               

 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

If Serving Alcohol - Current Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively (C.A.R.E.) card; Current ServSafe Certification
