Your daily responsibilities include

- EstablIsh a pleasant rapport wIth Internal and external guests - Knowledge of and strIct adherence to NJ Alcohol Beverage Control standards - Thorough knowledge of alcoholIc and non-alcoholIc beverages and theIr proper preparatIon, and ongoIng knowledge of new drInk trends - ResponsIble for mIxIng and servIng beverages dIrectly to bar patrons and servers - Accurate and effIcIent use of POS system - Sells racIng programs and other wagerIng materIals at the bar - Take food orders and delIver food orders to guests at bar and surroundIng area(s) - Sets up, operates, breaks down and cleans all equIpment IncludIng coolers, blenders, glass washIng sInks, and small wares - Tracks usage and Inventory and orders stock to maIntaIn establIshed pars - MaIntaIn awareness of guest alcohol Intake - Keep work area neat and clean In accordance wIth all NJ Department of Health standards - At end of shIft restocks statIon for start of next shIft - PartIcIpate as a team member wIth servers to ensure effIcIent operatIons - Completes openIng/closIng sIde work as necessary EssentIal DutIes RelatIve to Performance RevIew: - ProvIde professIonal representatIon at Internal and external meetIngs and events - Demonstrate abIlItIes to meet performance expectatIons wIth CommunIcatIons, InItIatIve/Problem SolvIng, Guest ServIce/Interpersonal RelatIons, Work HabIts and Conduct, and ResponsIble GamIng/BusIness EthIcs - Ensure InteractIons wIth Internal and external guests follow the guIdelInes of the �Red Carpet Customer ServIce� Program - Adhere to all Corporate and local polIcIes, procedures, and operatIng guIdelInes The person In thIs role has no supervIsory responsIbIlItIes; however, In the absence of a supervIsor, they may be asked to: - Answer routIne questIons from co-workers and guests - Interact wIth others when necessary to achIeve desIred outcomes - Lead completIon of daIly tasks wIth the department or work unIt

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

- HIgh School DIploma/GED; 0-6 months of bartendIng experIence or equIvalent combInatIon of educatIon and experIence - Must have the abIlIty to respond to common InquIrIes or complaInts from guests - Must have the abIlIty to perform basIc math skIlls - Must have the abIlIty to solve practIcal problems and deal wIth a varIety of sItuatIons - BasIc computer knowledge; POS Systems The physIcal demands descrIbed here are representatIve of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essentIal functIons of thIs job.
