Your daily responsibilities include

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  


  • Provide security on assigned deck or landing area; maintains high visibility, handles problem situations, watches for safety hazards, provides assistance to medical personnel. May patrol remote parking lots.
  • Provide security escorts for all monetary transfers, fills, and credits. Transports tokens to fill slot machines and cash for jackpot winners.
  • Oversee customer boarding and disembarking: provides crowd control, directs traffic, checks I.D.s, and checks for items not allowed on the boat.
  • Provide assistance to customers: give directions, call cabs, assist with car trouble, etc.  Provides special assistance to disabled patrons as necessary.
  • Assist with table and slot drops. Provides assistance for table drop by providing drop boxes, observing the count, the securing drop boxes.   Monitors all entry and exit from hard count, soft count, and vault, and maintains logs of these activities.
  • Provide training to new officers and serve as a field training officer as needed.
  • Serve as dispatcher. Dispatches other officers to various assignments and maintains activity log sheets.  Watches and records monitors. 
  • Writes detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure.
  • Testifies in court.
  • Present and provide enforcement on the floor.
  • Occasionally, strenuous physical activity is required.
  • Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company's judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest service.
  • Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a guest service-related field required.
  • Six (6) months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License and operate company vehicles as needed. 
  • Will be required to obtain CPR Certificate and Bloodborne Pathogen training. 
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving, mediation, and organizational skills required. 
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in EnglIsh. 
  • Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems and conflicts and defend self and others in combative situations.
  • Must have the ability to run on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs. 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. 
  • Must have strong computer skills and be fully competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to write clear, accurate, and concise reports.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests and team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have the ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
  • Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights. 
  • AbiIiIty to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment. 
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as described by company policy. 
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. 
  • Employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach wIth hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. 
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
