Penn Interactive is seeking a Senior Project Manager, who will support the business in expanding to a national sports betting and online casino market leader.  As Penn seeks to expand to the dozens of states who have legalized or will legalize interactive real money gaming, it needs a leader who has experience leading a cross-functional team through a complex, fast-paced industry while consistently delivering results.


The Senior Project Manager will assist the roll-out of Barstool Sportsbook and Casino to new markets.  This position will assist the various components of the business to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met for both Penn & third parties. The position will also play a vital role in supporting key areas such as Launch Readiness, Process Improvement, and Vendor Management.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Responsible for assisting the Penn Interactive Barstool Sportsbook & Casino team with tracking and meeting all required deliveries and deadlines to support new market rollouts
  • Work cross functionally with key groups such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations and Compliance
  • Create and manage project timelines, backlogs, schedules and document new processes
  • Anticipate and identify issues that may negatively impact business and work with other parties (internal and/or external) to develop and implement solutions
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
  • Develop and document new processes.
  • Keep other Penn Interactive teams informed regarding key deliverables and milestones and provide status reports to sponsors.
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to outline project goals and deliverables.
  • Lead and motivate project team members on a proactive basis, and liaise with other project managers to ensure communication across the business 
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in business or similar field.
  • 5-7 years of work experience within a similar role. Experience in the gambling business is preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must possess a high level of organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • Forward thinker who designs for not only current business needs, but plans for scalability and longer-term solutions
  • Must be able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities while ensuring successful completion of all items.
  • Ability to analyze and document necessary business processes, think analytically and be a problem solver
  • Able to apply responsibilities to everyday business situations with minimal direction and prioritize effectively
  • Results oriented, goal oriented and self-motivated.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team across departments by supporting the organization’s needs thru cross-functional relationships (i.e. marketing, player development).
  • Experience in gathering requirements and the ability to negotiate the “Right Solution” for the business.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain cordial and professional relationships with all levels of the business.
