Penn Interactive (PI) is an interactive gaming company headquartered in Philadelphia. As the digital arm to Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ: PENN), the largest regional casino operator in the U.S., we are poised for fast-paced growth in the sports betting and online casino space. We have partnered with Barstool Sports to create online and retail sportsbooks all over the US. As such, PI is looking for a Project Manager, Barstool Sports, who will drive the project roadmap with Barstool, work closely with PI and Barstool functional leaders, and manage key workstreams to ensure on-time completion of key tasks.


You will be the point person responsible for ensuring timely completion of strategic integrations between Penn Interactive and Barstool.  These integrations include coordination of key processes between Penn Interactive and Barstool Sports (e.g., sharing odds and unique offers between parties, coordinating marketing activities, gathering product feedback, communicating operational challenges, etc.). The relationships you develop with Barstool will be paramount in helping us achieve our mission.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Develop project plans, track milestones, identify risks to plan, and communicate to the appropriate team members
  • Oversee key integrations between Penn Interactive and Barstool Sports
  • Develop strong relationships with media partner’s leadership and become a trusted advisor/resource to that team
  • Work closely with other PI resources (e.g., BI, product, marketing, CRM, etc.) to ensure PI is meeting its obligations to Barstool in a timely manner)
  • Learn PI’s overall strategy and monitor relationships to ensure strategic priorities are being met
  • Develop a deep knowledge of PI and Barstool products and offerings and refresh that knowledge on a regular basis
  • Keep the project team informed regarding key deliverables and milestones and provide status reports to sponsors
  • Take ownership of key tasks that are not being completed and figure out a way to get them over the finish line
  • Develop executive level status reports and regularly present on progress to senior leadership
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
  • Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Bachelor degree required; PMP certification preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience in a challenging, dynamic environment
  • Ability to quickly develop relationships and influence people
  • Must possess a high level of organizational skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities while ensuring successful completion of all items
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage time efficiently. Effectively communicate and display excellent follow through to ensure the achievement of personal and company objectives.
  • Results oriented, goal oriented and self-motivated.
  • Experience in gathering requirements and the ability to negotiate the “Right Solution” for the business.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint and Project (or other project management software)
