An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Demonstrates outstanding internal and external service in accordance with “Red Carpet Service” program guidelines.
  • Provides general information about Hollywood Casino and answers inquiries from guests.
  • Retrieves table games ratings and utilizes patron response functions.
  • Utilizes casino computer system to redeem star points for guests.
  • Assists guests with special needs.
  • Communicates marketing program including, star point value and issuance of promotional items.
  • Monitors inventory of promotional items and notifies the supervisor when it is necessary to reorder.
  • Makes restaurant reservations and issues complimentaries when applicable.
  • Operates Coat Check.
  • Leadsproperty tours, as needed.
  • Attends departmental and company meetings, as required.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions, and apply to practical situations using fractions, percentages, and problem solving.
  • Ability to understand and perform duties in accordance with:
    • Hollywood Casino Aurora Core Values
    • Departmental, property, and company policies and standards
    • Illinois Gaming Board requirements
    • Sarbanes-Oxley
    • Internal Controls
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 lbs.
