As such, PI is looking for a VIP Marketing Manager to assist the Director of CRM, Sportsbook and Director of CRM, iCasino in building, managing, and scaling our loyalty retention marketing program for our online sportsbook and online casino player databases. Ideally this role will be filled by someone who has had experience growing and managing a loyalty customer database and program, with proven success in VIP database retention, VIP database growth, and growing customer lifetime value for all segments of VIP players.

 

In addition to continuously maximizing the value of exiting loyalty players, the VIP Marketing Manager will be responsible for growing the loyalty database by converting existing high-value players and retaining newly acquired VIP-caliber players.

 

This key role sitting within the CRM team will work with other VIP focused teams and individuals across the organization, ensuring a cohesive experience for high-end Barstool Sportsbook and Casino clientele. Developing timely, differentiated, and customized promotions/bonuses for VIP players is a core responsibility for this role. We’re looking for an individual with strong marketing and technology experience, deep CRM expertise, a proven track record in marketing automation systems, and the ability to collaborate cross functionally.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Lead the development, execution, management, and scale of the VIP loyalty player marketing program
  • Work closely with the Directors of CRM to develop and enhance loyalty KPIs for managing and accessing the success of all loyalty marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Work closely with the Marketing Analytics team to build and monitor dashboards to track and optimize all loyalty marketing and VIP database performance
  • Monitor competitor loyalty marketing communications and programs, testing and adopting best practices to continuously improve performance, player value, and profitability
  • This position requires a heightened ability for relationship management, not only with players, but with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Develop and deliver personalized communications, promotions, and campaigns to VIP players at scale
  • Work closely with and contribute to the Product and Acquisition teams’ efforts to enhance VIP player retention, and conversion of non-VIP players across all sportsbook and casino databases (with a strong focus on retaining and growing the LTVs of loyalty cohorts)
  • Execute at a high level in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in marketing, PR, communications, business administration, or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar VIP management or VIP marketing supervisory role OR…
  • 3+ years of experience in a VIP marketing or management role in the regulated online gaming industry
  • VIP e-commerce marketing and/or VIP sports marketing experience not required, but highly regarded
  • Experience working cross-functionally across various marketing teams including CRM, content, lifecycle, analytics, and creative to develop campaigns and promotions that maximize ROI and LTV for VIP players
  • Possess intimate knowledge of CRM, customer segmentation, database management, customer lifecycle modeling, and market research best-practices
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of marketing systems and processes (included but limited to email, SMS, onsite messaging & CMS management, app and web push notifications, etc.)
  • Relevant experience determining loyalty audience segmentation and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention to drive increased levels of lifetime value
  • Experience managing and indirectly managing a team highly regarded
  • Possess incredible relationship building skills, both with player databases at scale and with internal stakeholders
  • Adaptable, analytical thinker who can work both strategically as well as in a hands-on executional capacity
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work under the pressure of short time constraints 
  • Innovative thinker who looks beyond immediate competitive set for inspiration and ideas.
  • Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred, as well as competency in other data visualization tools (ie Tableau, PowerBI etc)
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Candidates with a passion for sports AND/OR sports betting as well as casino are highly regarded
