Your daily responsibilities include

The Count Room Assistant Manager is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer.The Count Room Supervisor is responsible for supervision and assistant of all operations of the Slot Vault department, including Hard and Soft Count.

 

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises departmental staff; makes recommendations on performance appraisals, merit increases, and employee promotions to supervisor.
  • Assists with enforcing company and departmental and security policies and procedures and Gaming Control Board regulations.
  • Assists in executing and following departmental objectives, policies, procedures, and budget to ensure proper management operations.
  • Performs daily administrative duties, daily slot pull, deposits, deliveries, booth fills, schedules, transfers to bank, MSDS, etc.
  • Verifies beginning and closing inventory.
  • Maintains safe conditions in Coin room.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • This position spends part of the shift on the casino floor, and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.  This position works with moderate noise levels around moving machinery in vault; ear protection is available.
  • This position works around non-toxic chemicals; proper precautions are taken.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas.
  • Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.
  • This position is extremely physical in nature, and requires complete physical mobility in order to push and pull carts weighing up to 2000 pounds (with assistance), and carry and move bags and racks of chips and tokens weighing up to 100 pounds (without assistance).
  • Ability to perform daily administrative work, including scheduling, logging slot pulls, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Effective written, verbal and mathematical skills.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Slot Vault operations.
  • The necessary skills required of this position are acquired through a minimum of once years’ experience in Slot Vault and/or Hard/Soft Count operations desired.
