As such, PI is looking for a Sr Analyst, Lifecycle Marketing Analytics to assist in accelerating the growth of PI’s real money gaming products, including its online sportsbook and online casino games.  

 

As a passionate and result-driven marketing analyst, you will be responsible for conducting statistical modeling and analyses to support the marketing team. You will make recommendations and provide insight to Penn Interactives marketing team in critical decision-making that drives key marketing planning across new market acquisition and CRM/retention efforts. The Analyst will also be responsible for creating and maintaining the marketing team’s data tagging hierarchy to ensure clean and actionable data is available to the organization.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Serve as the marketing team’s subject matter expert for lifecycle marketing analytics, with focus on acquisition, retention, and attribution
  • Conduct media mix modeling and attribution modeling to support the acquisition team and provide recommendations on how to optimize marketing effort and spend
  • Oversee the creation of tagging efforts in Google Tag Manager and Singular
  • Own and maintain the tagging taxonomy and hierarchy to ensure consistency in reporting
  • Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to the marketing team backed by data
  • Design and maintain dashboards for various stakeholders in the organization as it pertains to customer lifecycle marketing, media mix, and lifetime value
  • Maintain necessary processes, controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy and marketing functionality and comply with the various regulatory, privacy, and security policies and regulations
  • Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics or other quantitative fields. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • 3+ years of statistical modeling experience including media mix modeling and regressions
  • Expert knowledge of Google Tag Manager or equivalent tagging tools
  • Proficiency in data science techniques and statistical modeling tools (Python, R, etc.)
  • Highly experienced in creating reports and dashboards in a modern data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI etc).
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office suite, with exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in digital marketing principles (omni-channel) and best practices around attribution and media mix
  • Ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large quantities of data and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work under the pressure of short time constraints 
  • Must have advanced technical & application experience with Attribution platforms (Singular, AppsFlyer etc), Marketing management and analytics platforms for reporting purposes (GTM, CRM platforms etc), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc)
  • Experience with a variety of campaign management tools is preferred
  • Passion for sports AND/OR sports betting highly regarded
