    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Greet and verbally acknowledge each guest promptly.
    • Guide of guest's dining experience / ambassador of good will.
    • Prepare restaurant and table for service.
    • Manages assigned section(s) and provides superb service following the service standards.
    • Show enthusiasm towards guest and product.
    • Helps fellow servers; maintains a team mentality.
    • Accurate computer input of orders and delivery of food and beverages
    • Reconcile checks, thank guest and invite them back.
    • Clear and reset tables.
    • Maintain awareness of guest alcohol intake.
    • Stock side stations throughout the shift; Perform opening/closing side work.
    • Answer general questions about racing information available at facility

    Essential Duties Relative to Performance Review:

    • Provide professional representation at internal and external meetings and events
    • Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with Communications, Initiative/Problem Solving, Guest Service/Interpersonal Relations, Work Habits and Conduct, and Responsible Gaming/Business Ethics
    • Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the “Red Carpet Customer Service” Program
    • Adhere to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines

    The person in this role has no supervisory responsibilities; however, in the absence of a supervisor, they may be asked to:

    • Answer routine questions from co-workers
    • Lead completion of daily tasks within the department or work unit
    • Interact with others when necessary to achieve desired outcomes

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • High School Diploma/GED; Will provide training for this position
    • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests
    • Must have the ability to perform basic math skills
    • Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
    • Basic computer knowledge; POS Systems

    • Walking 75% of the time
    • Standing 10% of the time
    • Lift/moving a maximum of 40 lbs
    • Bending and lifting 15% of the time
