    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Responsible for assisting in the month-end close process to ensure financial statements are accurate and complete.
    • Completes timely and accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
    • Works closely with department managers to ensure they have a thorough understanding of their expenses and accounting procedures.
    • Provides assistance and guidance to department managers on accounting processes.
    • Assists in accurate and timely financial reporting both at the property and corporate level.
    • Assists in the implementation of process improvements to streamline and gain efficiencies.
    • Reviews all aspects of financial statements on a monthly basis for variances to the budget and prior year.
    • Produces various on-demand analysis requested by directors in addition to periodic corporate.
    • Performs other duties/assignments as needed.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • BA/BS in Accounting or related field.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word) or equivalent.
    • Professional appearance and impeccable integrity.
    • Strong problem solving skills. Good analytical skills. 6 months to 1 year accounting experience. 
    • Strong computer skills (General Ledger, Stratton Warren, Infinium reporting).
    • Strong communication skills. Strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks. 
    • Ability to coordinate, analyze and implement the Annual Capital and Operating Budgets.
    • Knowledge of General Ledger software,
    • Excel spreadsheets and capabilities.
    • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
    • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
    • Ability to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
