As the digital arm to Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ: PENN), the largest regional casino operator in the U.S., we are poised for fast-paced growth in the sports betting and online casino space. We have partnered with Barstool Sports to drive growth in our businesses. As such, PI is looking for a Responsible Gaming Analyst. The Responsible Gaming Analyst will be the point person responsible for working with the Director of Compliance and Compliance team in developing, implementing, and overseeing the Responsible Gaming Program at Penn Interactive across multiple digital gaming platforms.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Responsible Gaming Program at Penn Interactive relating to interactive gaming and online sportsbook.
    • Research and review all state specific responsible gaming requirements.
    • Responsible for maintaining an advertising log as necessary.
    • Ensures adherence with Corporate-mandated compliance programs, including Responsible Gaming program, including conducting quarterly Responsible Gaming interviews and preparing status report regarding the Company’s Responsible Gaming program.
    • Reviewing media partner, social media, and other advertisements and promotions to ensure compliance.
    • Reviews all advertising and promotions company-wide to ensure compliance with state specific regulations.
    • Assists in implantation, review, and audit, related to state implemented self-exclusion program or the property-based exclusion.
    • Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document transactions.
    • Assists in compilation of reports for multiple regulatory boards and assists in submission of necessary paperwork on Penn Interactive’s behalf, as needed.
    • Performs research, as necessary, for small daily projects and questions to large-scale implantation procedures specifically for Responsible Gaming, but other compliance areas as requested.
    • Maintains necessary compliance logs and ensures they are updated.
    • Assists in draft, and managing on-site content relating to responsible gaming, including but not limited to House Rules, Terms and Conditions.
    • Assists in drafting and submitting Internal Controls as needed.
    • Assists in audit of Responsible Gaming, CTR and SARC and/or Title 31 programs, in accordance with property’s established compliance guidelines. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
    • Work with various team members to create operational tasks determined by policies and procedures relating Responsible Gaming.
    • Perform other duties, as assigned.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business or related field from four-year college or university; two or more years’ experience in compliance or governmental affairs; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Casino experience preferred, but not required.
    • Ability to understand and adhere to any regulatory standards and changes.
    • Ability to analyze and document necessary business processes.
    • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
    • Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver.
    • Ability to understand regulatory requirements for licensing, operations and products.
    • Ability to apply responsibilities to everyday business situations with minimal direction; prioritizes effectively.
    • Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage time efficiently. Effectively communicate with excellent execution to ensure the achievement of personal and company objectives.
    • Results oriented, goal oriented and self-motivated.
    • Collaborate within a team across departments by supporting the organization’s needs through cross-functional relationships (i.e. Payments, Customer Service).
    • Experience in gathering and understanding requirements and the ability to negotiate the “Right Solution” for the business while meeting all regulatory expectations.
    • Experience working with development teams to plan and deliver solutions on time to outside parties such as Banks, Regulators and Gaming Certification Service Providers.
    • Must possess a high level of organizational skills.
    • Must be detail-oriented.
    • Must be able to meet deadlines and to work under the pressure of short time constraints.
    • Must be able to develop and maintain cordial and professional relationships with all levels of the business.
