    Prairie State Gaming is looking for a top-performing sales associate to build new business relationships within the highly profitable Illinois Video Gaming Industry.  We are seeking an energetic and top-performing "hunter" that is capable of building new relationships in this growing industry as well as leverage existing relationships within the hospitality and gaming industries to advance their sales career in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. In this role, you will manage the full-cycle sales process with the industries most lucrative prospective clients. 

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Consistently generate face to face opportunities with assigned accounts, while prioritizing and delivering an outstanding sales experience to customers
    • Cold call / email and identify decision makers within target accounts
    • Build relationships with industry “influencers” including but not limited to hospitality employees, managers and vendors.
    • Network and convert leads into sales opportunities and close new business
    • Network with local municipalities and attend City Council meetings to identify new business opportunities
    • Map client organizations and build relationships with multiple contacts focusing on decision-makers
    • Review contracts and agreements with clients
    • Maintain detailed account information in Salesforce, allowing management to easily understand the status of customer relationships and the opportunity pipeline
    • Achieve assigned Goal Attainment metrics for both and performance and efforts
    • Continuously manage and nurture sales pipeline
    • Makes decisions in conjunction with location owner on game placement, game type, and gaming area setup to maximize revenue. Makes recommendations to change placement, type, and setup based upon results. 
    • Meets assigned targets for profitable revenue volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
    • Develops in-house design strategies to redesign gaming areas in order to maximize revenue and performance.
    • Serves as liaison with municipalities and other local and state governmental institutions as necessary to assist clients with licensing needs.
    • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
    • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of five (5) years customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must have intermediate computer knowledge; MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Sales Force (CMS); ACSC preferred.\Track record of grassroots networking and lead generation experience
    • Motivated and tenacious with an unwillingness to settle for anything less than the best
    • Hungry for career growth and six-figure commissions ready to tackle new challenges with a clear desire to have a major impact on both Prairie State Gaming’s growth and Penn National Gaming’s overall revenue.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                     

    This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

     

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

     

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

     

    Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Penn National Gaming’s auto insurance carrier.
