    The Salesforce Developer is responsible for the architecture, development, testing and validation of our Salesforce environment. This role will collaborate with our solutions architects and develops to ensure products of the highest quality. The ideal candidate is detail and results oriented, self-motivated, has strong problem solving capabilities and works well with internal and external stakeholders.

     

     

    Your daily responsibilities include

     

    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

    • Develops and enhances our Salesforce environment to support business operations and processes.
    • Integrates with various business system partners with technical leads to ensure new services align to roadmaps and to understand the impact on the organization’s information architecture.
    • Collaborates with external providers to resolve any issues in the functionality and interoperability of new applications, infrastructure, and other services with exiting IT systems, both on premise and cloud.
    • Continually provides feedback and recommendations to development team, technical leads and managers.Participates in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design, coding, code review, testing, bug tracking, change management, deployment, and support.
    • Participates in project planning, scoping and estimating.
    • Optimizes operational efficiency with the design and customization of software(s).
    • Uses and enhances development best practices, design patterns, automated testing, security, scaling and operations.
    • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
    • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     • Bachelor’s degree (CS, MIS) in a computer-related field required.
    • 1+ years of Salesforce development experience required.
    • Must have knowledge and experience with Salesforce capabilities, constraints, best practices, and design patterns.
    • Must have strong technical and problem resolution skills.
    • Ability to instruct new users on new and existing platforms.
    • Must have technical proficiency in some of the following:  Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, triggers, workflows, SQL/SQQL, REST and SOAP APIs, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
    • Ideally has knowledge and experience with DevOps tools such as Gearset or Copado.
    • Must possess strong administrative and time/project management skills.
    • Must have the ability to meet deadlines and be proactive when working on tasks.
    • Ability to communicate clearly, efficiently and persuasively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Preference for Certified Platform App Developer, Certified Platform Developer                                         

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English will also be required.

     

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

     

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
