    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Maintain lighting and lighting systems for entire property 
    • Conduct walk through to check all lights and ensure they are burning (ex. roof lights, street lights, ground lights, office lights)
    • Read blueprints to locate areas of property that need lighting maintenance
    • Replace light bulbs, ballasts, transformers, capacitors, starters, and sockets as needed
    • Adjust breaker boxes to regulate voltage to dim lights and turn them on and off
    • Operate computer systems to communicate with dimmer racks including, programming and un-programming
    • Clean and maintain dichotic colors in theatrical fixtures
    • Maintain and check all lighting systems (Emphasis Servers, Nodes, DMX repeaters, and Lutron system)
    • Perform quarterly inspection and cleaning of all theatrical lights
    • Provide for the safety of team members, including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter and performing all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
    • Handle customer complaints and support all customer service programs
    • Understand and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies and procedures
    • Make determinations regarding types of materials, supplies, or tools to be used
    • Protect and preserve assets of the company
    • Understand and adhere to all bargaining unit agreements

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Technical certification from a college or technical school or a minimum of two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Ability to prepare, read and comprehend documents. 
    • Ability to write reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.
    • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state or federal law. 
    • Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history as determined by Argosy Casino auto insurance carrier.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
    • The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
    • The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to fumes, smoke, airborne particles and vibration. 
    • Many of the job duties of this position are performed outdoors and employees in this position are therefore frequently exposed to inclement, hot and cold weather conditions.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
