    Your daily responsibilities include

    The Manager of Financial Reporting will have responsibility for assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements principally for external reporting purposes, inclusive of earnings releases, Form 10-Qs, Form 10-Ks, proxy statements, statutory/regulatory filings, and other filing documents. Additionally, this position will have responsibility for overseeing multiple financial reporting projects simultaneously and ensuring compliance with deadlines. This individual will report to the Director of Financial Reporting and will interact with relevant stakeholders, including the Vice President of Accounting and Financial Reporting, Chief Accounting Officer, external and internal auditors, as well as to individuals working in other departmental areas, including but not limited to, Technical Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Tax, Compliance, and Legal.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):

    • Research and assist in the preparation and review of external financial statements in compliance with GAAP for deliverance to various gaming regulatory bodies as well as for other external reporting purposes, including ensuring that deadlines are achieved
    • Assist in the preparation and review of external financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations, such as Form 10-Qs, Form 10-Ks, Form 8-Ks, and proxy statements, including, if applicable, drafting footnotes and MD&A, preparing/reviewing statements of cash flows, U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists, etc.
    • Partner with investor relations on quarterly earnings releases 
    • Develop new disclosures for financial statement reporting purposes as determined by SEC requirements or new accounting standards, as well as advising on improvements to existing disclosures 
    • Review of in-line XBRL data contained within SEC filings 
    • Work directly with external auditors on specific requests pertaining to the consolidated audit, quarterly reviews, statutory/regulatory audits, and consolidating reports, including serving as the primary point of contact for auditor requests
    • Assist in the monthly consolidation process of the entire organization, including review of consolidating financial statements and schedules 
    • Oversee, coordinate and support other ad-hoc projects as they arise 

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in accounting
    • 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience (preferably in SEC reporting), including 4+ years with a public accounting firm 
    • CPA certification 
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills 
    • Ability to work in fast-paced environment on multiple assignments with tight deadlines, particularly at quarter-ends, be detail-oriented, and possess a sense of urgency 
    • Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, in-line XBRL, and Workiva WDesk, with a strong knowledge of SOX and regulatory reporting requirements preferred 
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a financial reporting team as well as with other departments (e.g., technical accounting, tax, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, etc.)
