    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Perform the operational duties assigned by Executive Steward & Assist Exec Steward
    • Ability to trouble-shoot, and train others, when necessary, on MMS equipment
    • Maintain working knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures
    • Perform all team members job functions when necessary
    • Ensure all daily scheduled banquet functions have required utensils, china, glass as designated by assigned Banquet Event Order
    • Participate in creating Food & Beverage Department policies and procedures with the ability to communicate, coach & counsel team members, when necessary
    • Educate, train, and manage Food & Beverage team members to follow policies and standards.  Develop highly skilled successful team members, set realistic and measurable service standards
    • Visual inspection of environment to ensure all F&B departments comply to Health Department Standards
    • Will be ServSafe certified to ensure safe and sanitary standards are met
    • Report any and all unusual activity to the Food & Beverage Manager

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • High School Diploma/GED; 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests
    • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals
    • Must have the ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply concepts to practical situations
    • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions
    • Basic computer knowledge; MS Office
