    Your daily responsibilities include

    SUMMARY:  Oversee all F&B departments on Casino floor and surrounding areas including, Beverage, Producers Lounge, Celebrity Grill, CMDR, Boogie Nights, Gift Shop, Final Cut, and Hops House

     

     

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

     

    • Holds pre-shift meetings daily.
    • Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred patrons.
    • Maintains operations by managing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and patron-service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.
    • Possesses strong leadership skills with the ability to support, motivate, and direct Cast Members/teams to achieve goals (Financial and Service experience).
    • Monitor bartenders to ensure drinks are prepared properly using ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice appropriately.
    • Monitor bartenders and servers to ensure all beverages are rang up properly.
    • Interact verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
    • Ensures the opening and closing work is fully completed.
    • Make correct change and/or complete any necessary charge transactions.
    • Order necessary stock to ensure the bar has inventory needed.
    • Responsible for ensuring proper checkout procedures for all staff.
    • Provide attractive and desirable offerings in the gift shop to meet the expectations and demands of our guests.
    • Ensure proper staffing and inventory levels are maintained in the gift shop.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of department budgetary guidelines, variances, and objectives during decision making and daily operations in all areas of responsibility.
    • Update VP of Hospitality/Operations as to status of operations, suggestions, or departmental concerns in a timely fashion.
    • Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
    • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
    • Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    All F&B staff on casino floor and surrounding areas and gift shop.

     

    AUTHORITY TO ISSUE COMPS: Yes, food and beverage comps only

     

    ACCESS TO GAMING AREA REQUIRED: Yes

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 5 years related experience and/or training of high food volume venues; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

    Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.

     

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Should be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 

     

    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    Cast Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

    • The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
    • Cast Member will be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted second hand smoke.
    • All Cast Members at Hollywood are under surveillance (and audio surveillance in limited areas).  Performance may be observed and recorded.
