    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Busperson greets and interacts with our guest in a friendly, courteous, responsive and accurate manner; cleans dining and food areas, tables and server areas; sets tables with dishes, napkins, silverware, glassware and condiments; provides routine support duties to higher level management staff; and performs related tasks within area of assignment.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Delivers superior internal and external guest service the Pinnacle Way by ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look sharp, smile and greet the guest; Be friendly, polite and use courteous language; Provide especially timely and knowledgeable service and then some; Always find solutions to guests’ problems; Use the guest’s name when appropriate; Thank the guest and invite him or her back.); and work harmoniously with fellow team members.

     

    Assumes responsibility for cleaning dining and food areas, tables and server areas; and setting tables with dishes, napkins, silverware, glassware and condiments.

     

    Works as a member of a team, ensuring soled dishes are removed from dining and food areas, tables and service areas and delivered to the appropriate cleaning area in the kitchen.

     

    Cleans tables and sets with clean dishes, napkins, silverware, glassware and condiments.

     

    Ensures that condiments are refilled regularly.

     

    Checks and stocks clean dishes, napkins, silverware, glassware and condiments in the dining and food areas from time to time during shift to ensure availability of these items.

     

    Keeps work area (floor, machine, shelving carts, etc.) clean at all times.

     

    Performs miscellaneous duties, such as rinsing dishes, working in store room, removing trash and preparing for banquets, special events, etc., as assigned.

     

    Notifies higher level management of any suspicious or unusual activity and/or transactions in a timely manner.

     

    Attends and participates in professional group meetings; maintains awareness of new trends and innovations in the field of customer service.

     

    Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    (Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

     

    Some experience to effectively perform the position duties, with at least two (2) month related experience.

     

     

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

    Possession of, and ability to maintain a valid gaming license within assigned state of employment

    Must successfully pass background check

    Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening

    Must be at least sixteen  (16) years of age

    Must be willing to work  weekends, Friday and Saturday nights,  and holidays if needed

     

     

    PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

     

    Knowledge of:

    Operations, services and activities of a customer service operation; method and techniques of sanitation and cleaning supplies; knowledge of table service procedures and table etiquette; pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.

     

    Ability to:

    Properly set tables and sort silverware according to company standards; maintain levels of condiments for guests; stand for extended periods of time; retrieve supplies and maintain a clean working area; operate a variety of cleaning equipment; communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; interpret policies and procedures; interpret and apply federal, state and local policies, laws and regulations.
