    Your daily responsibilities include

    MAJOR JOB DUTIES:  Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Utilizing proper procedures and documentation handles the following:
    • Comps, room charges, credit Cards, officer’s checks and coupons
    • Voids and walkouts
    • Cash tickets
    • Head counts
    • Proper required identification and authorization
    • Use of cash register with speed and accuracy
    • Ensure bank is counted and totals match with cage before leaving shift.
    • Proper completion of cash turn-in sheets, voids, etc., with appropriate distribution.
    • Ensure a supervisor is contacted immediately for any guest complaints as necessary.
    • Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff.
    • Performs related work as requested.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    EXPERIENCE:  6 months cash register and cash handling experience.

     

    EDUCATION:    High School Diploma or GED.                               

     

    SKILLS:   Excellent communication skills.  Ability to perform basic math.  Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner.  Ability to understand the concept of cash handling, making change and counting it back to the guest.  Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with guests and staff.  Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures.  Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.

               

    CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Clark County Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card
