    Your daily responsibilities include

    The Housekeeping Supervisor assumes complete direction, operational control, and supervision of the housekeeping department.  Responsible for the cleanliness of the guest rooms and public areas assigned to the housekeeping department.

    The commute to Cactus Petes is easy and comfortable, our exclusive Team Member bus stops in Twin Falls and Hollister six times a day. We also have several types of housing available on property for rent to Team Members, subject to availability.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • This is a uniformed position, which requires that team member’s are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
    • Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by any Cactus Petes entity.
    • Issuing timely performance evaluations on subordinates and offering guidelines and resources to achieve goals.
    • Responsible for confirming department team members’ time in Kronos daily.
    • Responsible for the staffing needs and personnel needs (hiring, training, evaluating,) of the housekeeping department.
    • Develop plans, actions, and standard operating procedures for the operation and administration of assigned departments. 
    • Establish and maintain housekeeping scheduling procedures.
    • Maintain an inspection program for all assigned public areas and guest rooms.
    • Maintain work order system ensure proper maintenance to guest rooms.
    • Maintain control of linen rooms, storerooms, and cleaning supplies ensuring adequate security and supply.
    • Coach, monitor, and develop team members for improved performance.
    • Two years’ experience in hotel housekeeping preferred.
    • One year supervisory experience preferred.
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Must have good organizational skills.
    • General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.
    • Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour shift.
