    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Senior Management of the Casino. (Continually)
    • Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. (Continually)
    • Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity. (Continually)
    • Control of video cameras and recorders. (90%)
    • Maintain daily shift reports for Ameristar Casino Hotel Vicksburg. (5%)
    • Work on special projects as assigned by Director of Surveillance. (5%)
    • Comply with company and department policies and procedures. (Continually)
    • Maintain strict confidence regarding Company matters. (Continually)
    • Day-to-day supervision of surveillance personnel. (Continually)
    • Implement and adhere all policies set forth by the Mississippi Gaming Commission and the Department Director or Manager. (Continually)
    • Perform duties of a Surveillance Operator as required. (Continually)
    • All other duties as assigned.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    Required Knowledge and Skills

    • Preferred in-depth knowledge of 21, Craps, Cage, and Slots.
    • Background in video or electronics desirable.
    • Must have above average math skills.
    • The ability to learn and remember the locations of over 500 cameras.


    Required Natural Behaviors

    • Must be able to obtain TIPS certification.
    • Provide representation of department in specific project and company meetings.


    Required Education and Work Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
