    Your daily responsibilities include

    Under direct supervision of the Team Leader, enhances effectiveness by performing a variety of administrative duties and tasks. Maintain confidentiality with all privileged information. This list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive. 


    Essential Functions

    • Manage all administrative duties associated with team relations including, preparing counseling forms, personnel action forms, promotions, pay increases, payroll, etc.
    • Ensure schedule is adequate for business levels
    • Review and approve or deny team member switches, special requests, vacation requests, and ensure all personal leaves of absences are approved by leadership
    • Accommodate personnel requests for vacations, extra days off, and emergencies.
    • Ensure accurate posting and awarding of shift and day off bids as defined by union contract
    • Establishes and maintains an effective filing and retrieval system
    • Ensures proper paperwork is sent to Human Resources for any team member changes
    • Records and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate
    • Prepares correspondence, reports, minutes, agendas, memos, forms, directories, and other documents and communications from computer systems, drafts, recordings, or verbal instruction as requested
    • Edits and reviews all correspondence and documents for correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
    • Maintains and operates office machines, equipment, and computers
    • Performs or coordinates general maintenance and repair
    • Photocopies, collates, distributes, and files documents
    • Assist with ordering and purchasing supplies for Table Games
    • Maintains inventory of office supplies
    • Maintain team member files and accurately record team member attendance and punctuality
    • Create various reports as assigned; Hold/Attend regular meetings as scheduled
    • Demonstrate knowledge of all current casino/hotel marketing promotions
    • Other job-related duties as assigned

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Knowledge of records management and basic accounting procedures
    • Ability to accurately enter information into computer systems
    • Ability to demonstrate outstanding Team Member service at all times
    • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and with co-workers at all levels
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in verbal or written format
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Must be willing to work in a union environment and adhere to union rules and regulations
    • Must have thorough understanding of rules and regulations as defined by union contract
    • Must have knowledge and understanding of state and federal laws pertaining to leaves of absence and family medical leaves
    • Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and Kronos and Schedule Ease
