    Your daily responsibilities include

    Job Summary

    • Supports all Culinary managers and Chef’s in ensuring they receive the product being ordered to meet the needs of our guest.
    • Communicate with managers and Chefs daily and regularly by informing them of missing, misplaced, and backorder product.
    • Comply with Health Department guidelines and The Tropicana Core Values in creating a courteous, friendly, safe and professional environment

     

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Stack merchandise on racks.
    • Check in merchandise and date labels each product case.
    • Match purchase orders to items delivered and distribute to the appropriate restaurant.
    • Fulfill/resolves chef and managers request for supplies.
    • Move materials off racks/pallet and organizes it per outlet prior to delivery.
    • Follow all safety codes.
    • Place merchandise on shelves for these required outlets.
    • Record amounts of materials or items received.
    • Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
    • Carry out tasks as assigned by the Executive Steward.
    • Identify damage, loss, or surplus that are no in good standing. Reports these items to the Executive Steward, outlet manager, and outlet Chef.
    • Ensure managers and Chef of each outlet are signing off on invoices.
    • Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the storehouse.

     

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Must have Supply and Inventory Control experience.
    • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must have supervisory and strong clerical and computer skills.
    • Able to maintain heavy bookkeeping.
