    Your daily responsibilities include

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Point person when department management is not available.
    • Assist all departments by responding to housekeeping and biohazard calls.
    • Observes and maintains communication within the department to include; answering calls, assigning tasks, alters daily schedules and assignments as needed.
    • Any information that is relevant to another shift or department must be communicated properly and in a timely manner, including call-offs, early-outs and maintenance requests.
    • Help train and promote standards of excellence, including but not limited to department expectations on approved cleaning standards for sanitation and safety of all areas or work zones.
    • Responsible for ensuring radios, keys, pans and brooms, and other equipment is checked in and out accurately when management is not available.
    • Responsible for providing exceptional ACES Customer Service to all guests.
    • Removes trash from the trash container and places into the dumpsters.
    • Familiar with the proper use of chemicals and equipment.
    • Maintain cleanliness of all areas including slot areas and restrooms by picking up litter, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning ashtrays and removal and transport of garbage. Clean walls, doors, windows, sills, furniture, woodwork, and fixtures in all areas of the facility.
    • Maintain accuracy of restroom logs after cleaning.
    • Stock and supply all service areas with appropriate cleaning supplies.
    • Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
    • Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations.
    • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including use of appropriate personal protective equipment where applicable. Keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter
    • Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
    • Any job duty needed to promote productivity in the efficient administration of business or any reasonable request made by your supervisor or management personnel.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     Must be at least 18 years of age.

     

    • Previous Supervisory or Lead experience preferred
    • Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
    • Heavy Duty Cleaner experience preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Must present a well-groomed appearance
    • Must perform duties with a sense of urgency
    • Must be able to work as a team with other employees
    • Ability to use and control various mechanical equipment
    • Ability to work around dust
    • Ability to maneuver in small, limited spaces
    • Ability to transport all supplies to and from work areas
    • Must be able to work in areas containing second-hand smoke
    • Must be able to operate equipment, including: vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, mop and broom
    • Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and be able to handle chemical fumes and airborne particles (on occasion)
    • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency
