    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Maintain high standards of professionalism and service to establish positive long term customer rapport.
    • Manage program from contract turn-over to final billing confirming meeting space, dates, guest room block, expected attendance and any other relevant details.
    • Assist clients managing guest room reservations, food and beverage selections, audio/visual needs, conference internet requirements, accounting procedures and any other assistance needed.
    • Produce in a timely manner and per standards, Banquet Event Orders for all functions, Group Resumes and collaborate with all hotel involved departments in the execution of respective functions. 
    • Effectively and accurately communicate program changes.
    • Accurately build and manage group budget and forecast.
    • Attend BEO meetings, Resume meetings, Group reservation meetings and Departmental meetings.
    • Maintain and understand applicable policies regarding menu pricing, food handling, guarantees, cancellations, service charges, payment, shipping and receiving, etc..
    • Produce contract agreements for any new business or in-conjunction business that may materialize after the original contract. 
    • Responds to new business inquiries.
    • Conduct tours of conference center, catering venues and guestrooms.
    • Order outside services for events.
    • Ensure Catering and Conference services are per standards and be available to be present at various events. 
    • Follow all departmental Policies and Procedures.
    • Perform any job related duty as requested.

     

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

     

    • At least 3 years of Catering/Conference Services experience.
    • Strong organizational skills are required.
    • Bachelor's Degree is required.
    • Working knowledge of F&B operations and procedures.
    • Ability to lead and assemble a team.
    • Computer, telephone, other office equipment. MS Office is preferred.
    • Must work well in high-paced, stressful situations.
    • Previous experience in same casino resort environment is preferred.
