    We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Hotel Front Desk Manager.  An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Responsible for the smooth operation of the Hollywood Casino's Hotel Front Desk, RV Park, Bell Services and Marina
    • Informs the Director of Resort Operations of the status of operations on a daily basis.
    • Controls payroll through efficient scheduling of staff, while maintaining guest satisfaction.
    • Directly supervises the Hollywood Hotel Front Desk, Bell Services and RV Park area.
    • Responsible for maintaining highest occupancy levels by working closely with Sales Manager and Call Center Supervisor regarding group bookings and convention sales. Blocks rooms for groups and specific suite requests as business dictates.
    • Maintains all master and direct bill accounts to insure timely billing.
    • Insures all rooms are properly coded. Verifies incoming reservations and room blocks previously set for occupancy on day of arrival.
    • Maintains and works inventory to maximize occupancy and revenue on the day of arrival. Informs Director of Resort Operations of any drop in inventory.
    • Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.
    • Any and all duties as assigned by your Manager or a member of management.

     

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous experience as a Front Desk Manager in a first class facility is preferred
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Word processing software, and Excel.
    • Must successfully complete C.A.R.E. training certification course.
    • Excellent communication and motivational skills necessary. Organizational skills required.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to talk or hear. The cast member is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
