    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Responsible for supervising and managing Compensation Team Members within the HR function.  Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives in defined area.
    • Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving internal customer satisfaction.
    • Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
    • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.  Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.  Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
    • Responsible for all activities relating to compensation. Including but not limited to: initiation and completion of salary surveys and compensation analyses; assisting with calculation of cost of living wage increases, bonuses and long-term compensation awards, creating compensation reports, and conducting necessary training.
    • Establishes salary grade structure, position & job code maintenance standards, compensation analysis templates, and compensation internal controls.  Ensures consistent and competitive compensation practices for the entire enterprise, in accordance with regulations and market conditions.
    • Assists in management of HRIS vendor relationships as needed.
    • Resolves day-to-day escalated service issues that relates to compensation and/or HRIS.
    • Assists with all benchmarking activities and generates comparison of company compensation with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information to ensure competitiveness.
    • Responsible for performing administrative duties as needed. This includes but not limited to approving and submitting payroll forms for Compensation Team Members and creation of templates, presentations, and training plans.
    • Administers and configures the Company’s compensation benchmarking, and equity award processes. 
    • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Leadership.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field from four-year college or university; or five years progressive experience in compensation administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of leadership experience required. Experience in the gaming or hospitality industry highly preferred.
    • Must have comprehensive knowledge and experience with compensation practices, such as position & job code maintenance, compensation analyses; and design of compensation programs.
    • Must have strong problem solving, organizational, analytical, planning, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
    • Must have excellent project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
    • Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
    • Must have the ability to perform statistical analysis.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • Must have advanced proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Skype, Excel, and Outlook).
    • Must be able to travel an average up to 35% of the time.
    • Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
    • Must have the ability to drive results and be proactive when working on tasks.
