    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Compiles employee payroll data from timesheets and other records
    • Verifies attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and posts data onto records
    • Completes data entry necessary for payroll processing
    • Reviews a variety of payroll source documents, and identifies and reconciles discrepancies
    • Processes and issues paychecks to employees
    • Assist in development of corporation wide payroll policies and procedures
    • Assists with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end functions
    • Develop and run queries and reports
    • Conduct end user training and assist with the development and maintenance of end user guides
    • Assist in payroll implementations of future acquisitions
    • Research and resolve questions as necessary as they relate to payroll information
    • Assists with System Administration duties such as security setup and auditing, and setup tables
    • Performs routine weekly tasks for all locations such as generating general ledger files, retirement plan files and reconciling and other varied vendor files
    • Special projects as deemed necessary by the Corporate Payroll Manager
    • Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc
    • Duties and tasks are varied and complex, are preformed under general supervision, and typically require originality and/or ingenuity

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred
    • Five years relevant experience with a Fundamental Payroll Certification is preferred
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
    • Must be flexible, organized, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines
    • Good verbal and written communication skills are imperative
    • Must be able to work well with people, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
    • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
