    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Ensures that count team members follow all departmental policies and procedures.
    • Organizes the activities of the count team to meet organizational objectives.
    • Trains new team members on count team procedures.
    • Performs the duties of a count team member both on the floor and in the count room.
    • Performs the collection and count of soft drop for gaming machines with the focus on accuracy.
    • Accurately counts table drop and reconciles paperwork to the system reports for table transactions.
    • Assigns/receives keys to and from Count Team Members.
    • Responsible for the removal and replacement of cash boxes from the gaming machines and onto assigned carts.
    • Responsible for operating currency counting equipment.
    • Ensures that all scheduled and dropped slot cash boxes have been removed from the gaming floor and accounted for and have been properly secured and processed in accordance with department procedures.
    • Responsible for ensuring the count is conducted with the accounting system operational.
    • Responsible for preparation of paperwork and reports detailing records of the count process.
    • Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
    • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
    • Utilizes effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through the shifts. 
    • Ensures that behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards.
    • Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times.
    • Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.   
    • Participates in meetings and trainings as required.
    • Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
    • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.

    • This position has no supervisory responsibility.

    • High School diploma or equivalent required.  Adept with mechanical devices and previous cash handling experience preferred. 
    • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.   Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.  Ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.  Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.  Demonstrated accuracy and able to maintain a high level of accountability.  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
    • Excellent math skills and proven problem solving and analytical skills required applicable to business needs.
    • Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
    • Must obtain licensing with the West Virginia Lottery and Racing Commissions every year of employment.
    • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.  Must demonstrate fairness in dealing with customers and employees; and, possess the ability to instill a sense of pride and personal responsibility in staff.   Champion of Red Carpet Customer Service and building positive team spirit. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate.

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee:  must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees and others.   Is regularly required to stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak; hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to sit.    Occasionally climb heights and reach above shoulder level; continuously bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close and distance vision; color and depth perception; peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.   The employee must continuously lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to one-hundred (100) pounds.
