    Your daily responsibilities include

    Hollywood Casino at Toledo is currently looking for a VP of Marketing to join the team. 

    • Develops and executes strategic marketing direction to include marketing reinvestment, direct marketing, advertising, public relations/community relations, and entertainment for the properties which generates trial and builds long term relationships with customers and strengthens the brand value
    • Develops and implements annual marketing plan for the property that supports the overall brand strategy for the company
    • Drives improved program results in all areas of responsibility through staff development and training programs, and established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high quality service, then monitors results through inspection, evaluation and analysis.  Makes changes if necessary to achieve end result
    • Responsible for assessing, anticipating and reacting to the competitive marketplace in regard to marketing strategies, programs, campaigns, and promotions 
    • Lead departments through active participation
    • Management accountability for all team members for day to day and long term operations to include hiring, training and developing employees which includes coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management up to and including separation
    • Ensures appropriate IT resources are available to run programs 
    • Familiarization with all company Brand programs and systems and provides input to improve Brand direct marketing efforts
    • Responsible for the overall integrity of daily operations, offers and customer database information Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
    • Presents oneself as a credit to the company and encourages others to do the same
    • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university; MBA required
    • Five years progressively more challenging experience in a senior marketing role with direct responsibility for revenue generation
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
    • Ability to understand and analyze Budget & P&L Statements, competitive information and develop plans with measurable results
    • Proven managerial and critical thinking skills required
    • Must possess excellent employee relations skills
    • Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English
    • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required
    • Measurable objectives as defined on annual Performance appraisal
    • Teamwork – ability to work collaboratively with other departments and leaders to complete property/corporate initiatives and effective day to day operations
    • Financial results that meet or exceed budget expectations for revenue generation and cost control
    • Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements
    • Development of team to include completion of all required training and knowledge of all policies and procedures relating to their positions
    • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment
    • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
