    Your daily responsibilities include

     

    • Responsible for providing direction, training, and daily supervision to revenue audit staff at the Tropicana and M Resort
    • Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily audits and MICS/regulatory audits (slot, table games, cage, player’s club, tournaments, kiosk, W-2G, 1042, point-of-sale, hotel, and entertainment)
    • Execute procedural policies that maintain compliance with all internal controls, processes, and procedures and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements (GCB, State, City, County, IRS, GAAP)
    • Review and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, tax and license filings, and produce various reports and statistical analysis
    • Assist with month end close including month end journal entries and accruals, reconciliations, reviewing financials, creating adjusting entries, and assisting the leadership team with other closing activities
    • Complete special projects and critical audits, as requested by management
    • Cooperate with internal and external auditors during audits and review
    • Maintain audit schedule, adhering to scheduling requirements and coordinates with management with any scheduling concerns
    • Fulfill the duties of a revenue auditor, as necessary
    • Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
    • Other duties, as may be assigned

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

     

    • Five years of revenue audit/accounting experience preferred
    • Previous experience with casino and hotel systems (ACSC, Casino Insight, Xchange Explorer, X-View, iSeries, InfoGenesis, Micros 9700, Micros Web Reports, Oasis, Universal Desktop, LMS, iSeries Navigator, DataMagine, Great Plains, Ticketmaster, TM One)
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, intermediate proficiency in other Microsoft applications (Word, Planner, OneNote, Office 365)
    • Working knowledge of the GCB minimum control standards and regulations
    • Excellent customer service, great communication, superb leadership, and a positive attitude
    • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain a gaming card
