    Your daily responsibilities include


    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary for M Resort and/or Tropicana properties:


    • Serves as a liaison between internal departments and all supporting departments.
    • Supervises flow of work orders, to include writing creative briefs, modifying job orders, and coordinating traffic to ensure timelines are met and projects are completed within budget. Identifies and escalates issues to keep deadlines on schedule.  Assigns tasks as needed for re-prioritization. 
    • Communicate effectively with all internal and external clients.
    • Produces advertising, graphics, direct mail and multimedia using creative design concepts and original designs in collaboration with Corporate Marketing.
    • Reviews projects for errors before printing and publishing them in conjunction with Corporate Marketing. Makes suggestions for improvements and changes as necessary.
    • Maintains graphic library for multi-media and in-house murals, signage and collateral for assigned properties.
    • Assists with development and execution of advertising campaigns. Makes recommendations for improvement as needed. 
    • Assists in preplanning of advertising projects.
    • Provides direction and recommendations to ensure brand is consistently represented.
    • Assists in managing all marketing support services to include advertising, public relations, and internal department requests. Responsible for press releases and media correspondence in relation to marketing programs or property advertising.
    • Maintains relationships with outside vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective production campaigns.
    • Assists with formulating the brand’s long-term strategy and develops and executes marketing plans.
    • Responsible for inputting and managing job requests in the project management system.
    • Updates information and schedules within the project management system in a timely manner to ensure that all information is accurate and up to date.
    • Generates status reports and distribute as necessary. Creates ad-hoc reporting as needed.
    • Traffics ad materials and ensures that job deadlines are met.
    • Obtains necessary job materials, details and information pertaining to each project from necessary
    • Assists in research for marketing and advertising projects.
    • Provides administrative support to the Marketing Department as needed.
    • Coordinates and assists in advertising promotional events and live broadcasts.
    • Monitors the M Resort and/or Tropicana Website “contact us” guest questions and uses discretion to provide responses to guests as necessary.  Directs questions to the appropriate department representative outside of Marketing, if necessary.  Logs new guest book email address for future database/e-blast usage. 
    • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
    • Develops, maintains and implements social media content calendar.
    • Develops and maintains the “voice” of M Resort and or Tropicana messaging and visual content.
    • Manages and monitors all social media platforms daily. Creates responses to inquiries or comments, engaging content, and interacts with guests to increase increasing overall online presence, fan base and engagement levels. Creates and develops campaigns and social media teasers for all social content. 
    • Works closely with the Advertising Manager to implement social media goals and strategies, ensuring that campaigns align with PR and marketing initiatives.
    • Conceptualizes, creates and leads development of original and unique photo and video content for timely posting.
    • Attends property events and activities to gather content (including evening and weekend events)
    • Creates and analyze social media metrics and department reports.
    • Maintains and update website content.
    • Manages online listings (Yelp, Trip Advisor, etc.), to ensure all information is up-to-date and working with individual departments to respond to customer feedback in a timely manner.  Creates and responds to inquiries and comments for the Marketing department.
    • Assists with public relations efforts including but not limited to fielding media requests, coordinating interviews, staffing photo shoots and arranging media visits.
    • Reviews and updates directory listings, media lists, and fact sheets for assigned properties.
    • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

    •  Associates Degree (AA) in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred; minimum two years’ experience in advertising or client services; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in hospitality industry and resort setting preferred.
    • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
    • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                                             

    This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.



    Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.



    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.



    Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
