    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Promote and maintain all steps of the Red Carpet Customer Service Program with each patron and employee you may come in contact with.
    • Follow all company and department policies and procedures.
    • Provide exemplary customer service.
    • Supervises the Slot Attendants, including ongoing training, coaching, counseling and rewarding performance, conducting timely performance appraisals, and completing related paperwork and maintaining employee files and documents in a secure office. 
    • May be assigned to particular Slot Attendants depending on shifts assigned.
    • Monitor the flow of the Slot Attendants on the floor, ensure that there is proper coverage in all areas; redirect staff when needed to ensure proper floor coverage.
    • Oversees the various functions of casino operation for a regular shift as assigned. 
    • Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, maintains a clean and safe work environment.  Report cleanliness problems and ensures resolution.  Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures including use of safety equipment. 
    • Incumbents are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe conditions, as directed.
    • Acts as a resource to team members and patrons when unusual circumstances arise, or when there are safety or security concerns.
    • Acts as a verifier for certain slot-related transactions.
    • Ensures guest comfort and ensures that Slot team members and other team members perform their duties in accordance with their position description and service guarantees.
    • Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required.
    • Responsible for ensuring that all Team Members follow security policies and procedures and reports all violations.
    • Performs duties in compliance with the State of Maine Gambling Control Board.
    • Other duties may be assigned.
    • Supervises Slot Attendants, Valet Attendants, Coat-check Attendants

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • A minimum age of 21.
    • Associate’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.    
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
    • Three plus years of recent and related casino experience, preferably in slot operations preferred. 
    • Two or more years of related managerial experience.
    • Demonstrated extensive experience persuading and negotiating. 
    • Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
    • Demonstrated  experience problem solving, organizing and prioritizing work. 
    • Demonstrated experience developing and managing to budgets.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret routine business documents. 
    • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. 
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
    • Must be very detailed oriented.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Must qualify for licensing by the Maine Gaming/Racing Commission.
