  • Your daily responsibilities include


    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:


    • Assists in the development of AV revenue goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
    • Responsible for ensuring all sets and client’s needs are met in a timely manner.
    • Responsible for client account management pertaining to audio visual needs to include obtaining definite bookings from hotel sales department, proactively contacting customers, logging data, and managing BEOs.
    • Attends daily BEO and Resume meetings; reports back to department leadership.
    • Issues discounts and/or complimentatires to clients as needed for service recovery efforts.
    • Utilizes an understanding of costs associated with sales, including labor, equipment outsourcing and work within established profitability guidelines. Prepares and presents clear and persuasive proposals for new business.
    • Acts as liaison between department heads and AV team when handling all event setup schedule needs, to ensure clients needs are met in a timely manner.
    • Conducts on-going comparison analysis of local market, used to determine competitive pricing. Makes recommendations for improvement based on findings.
    • Responds to client requests and questions. Conducts conference phone calls and meetings as needed.
    • Develops and revises quotes based on client requests and submits to client for approval.
    • Develops standard event pricing for client services based upon market demand and venue.
    • Protects and preserves the assets of the company.
    • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.  Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
    • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Director.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum five years audio visual experience required; A/V sales experience in a hospitality environment preferred
    • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of Audio and Visual, including signal flow, equipment functionality and programming
    • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
    • Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
    • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills; strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
    • Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                    

    This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.





    Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.





    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.



    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.



    Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
