    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Directs the overall operations of cashiering area and safeguards the assets of the company, relating to casino cashiering, including the internal control environment.
    • Verify transfers and other paperwork completed by cashiers along with being accountable for all funds.
    • Conduct investigations into variances, violations of internal controls, and violations of reporting requirements.
    • Approves scheduling of all personnel and activities relating to cage .
    • Maintains acceptable levels of audit exceptions for the department while ensuring MGC approved internal controls are being adhered to.
    • Prepares regular reports on the status of each shift, including cashier overages and shortages, morale and staffing levels.
    • Coordinates timely reporting of cashier, in-house check cashing activity to Income Control.
    • Assign duties and projects to shift managers along with providing each with the knowledge, development and appropriate direction to perform his\her responsibilities.
    • Provide continuous positive coaching for development of employees and appropriate corrective action when necessary.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • College degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge of casino and hotel internal and accounting controls, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements is desirable.
    • Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output form a computer.
    • Excellent organization, communication, administrative and managerial skills.
    • Must be able  to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
    • Must pass background check and MO Gaming License Process.
    • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
    • Able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, including in and around assigned area during entire shift.
    • Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items (pens, reports, keyboards, etc.) as necessary.
    • Able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guests’ demands in a fast pace environment.
    • Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
    • Able to read, verify & and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in small, secured areas.
    • Excellent vision (including peripheral) is needed to protect games and funds of the property.
    • Able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
    • Able to respond to visual and aural cues.
