    Your daily responsibilities include

    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary for Hollywood Casino Tunica, Resorts Tunica, and/or 1st Jackpot Tunica

    • Under general supervision, performs skilled work in adjusting and servicing temperature controls and in maintaining and repairing cooling and heating equipment.
    • Performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
    • Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
    • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Experience with property energy management and control systems.
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Can read and understand blue prints.
    • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma. Vocational school degree or a minimum of two years of experience in the field.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

     

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

     

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Must be eligible for HVAC licensing with the state of Mississippi.  Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state in which you reside.  In addition to the pre-employment background check, this position will be subject to periodic checks of your driving record in order to determine your continued suitability to drive company and/or patron vehicles.  Must be Universal CFC certified.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock.  The employee is occasionally exposed to humid conditions; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.  The noise level in the environment is usually loud.
